Headed to Belfast from Dublin, Newgrange seemed like the ideal place for a leg stretch. Hard to believe that something so large had been buried for hundreds of years before it was resurrected. I would have liked to have taken pics of the interior, but it was forbidden. Perhaps it would have slowed the flow of tourists. Or flash might have damaged the carvings? Whatever the case, there were plenty of postcards for sale back at the gift shop.
