Getting high

After a mildy entertaining time at the great Pumpkin Festival at Half Moon Bay, I figured I would take the road less travelled (at least by me) and go back to SJ along the coast. As expected, there was lots of crashing surf, sand, and birds. What I wasn’t expecting was an aerial and water spectacle consisting of kite surfers with the odd wind surfer thrown in for good measure. I was just like those kites: blown away ;-)

Getting wet

I still marvel at how wet suits are enough to keep the chill at bay. I can barely stand dipping my toes into those frigid waters. Maybe I’m just a wimp. Or maybe I need to give it a try.
