It was just a few days in the Danish capital, but that was alright because this was my second trip and I didn't feel obliged to try to squeeze in all that there was to see in the few days that I had. As usual, there was lots of walking and, when I wasn't popping into housewares stores, the time was spent in anticipation of the next meal/coffee/snack.
I can relate to the Danish bike culture, because I am one of the few in the San Jose area that have made it a habit of riding their bike to work whenever possible. Not only is it another car off the road, but I am saved the boredom of navigating through traffic twice a day. And I get a bit of exercise to boot.
I couldn't resist including at least some street art/scrawlings.
I was impressed by all the seaside dwellings that looked like they'd be quite cozy on a damp winter's day. If that doesn't keep the chill at bay, you wouldn't have to look too hard to find some steamy sauna action.
